New learning group for school starters and primary school students.
In keeping with the Christmas season, we were approached with a project we were very happy to support. A new “study group for school starters and primary school students” is being established for 2015. The group will give financially disadvantaged children the chance to receive extra tuition at no cost. The citizens’ initiative O.A.S.E. is calling this project into being with the help of our donation. We will keep you posted on the project’s progress after its successful launch. projekt-oase.de
Support for flood victims in Wallernhausen.
On 13/07/2014, the residents of Wallernhausen (Wetteraukreis) were surprised by heavy rainfall and torrential floods of mud and water. The floodwaters rampaged through the town centre taking everything with them. Houses and infrastructure suffered heavy damage and some residents lost all their possessions. TEKO reacted immediately to this emergency and joined in with the neighbouring communities’ generous donations. Our donation of €5,000 will come as a great relief to the residents of the Wallernhausen community.
