To strengthen our team at our headquarters in Altenstadt (Hesse), we are looking for a Team Lead Financial Accounting (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible.

What you can expect

  • Lead the financial accounting department

  • Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements

  • Act as contact person for tax-related matters (VAT, trade tax, corporate tax)

  • Support local accounting teams of our subsidiaries

  • Handle insurance claims and related processes

  • Manage contracts, including reviewing agreements and coordinating with legal experts on complex issues

What sets you apart

  • Completed commercial training with further qualification as Certified Accountant, or a degree in business administration with a focus on accounting/controlling, or equivalent qualification

  • Several years of professional experience in financial accounting, including leadership experience

  • Basic legal knowledge for reviewing contract and insurance-related matters

  • Open-minded personality with strong team and communication skills

  • Structured and goal-oriented working style

  • Good command of English, both written and spoken
