Natchapol Chogratin – Training as a CO2 specialist

13. December 2021

Natchapol Chogratin, called Tua, has been part of the TEKO team since May 2021. He comes from Thailand and will be trained as a CO2 specialist at TEKO over the next two years. Tua has a Bachleor degree in mechanical engineering from Thammasat University (Thailand). Before he came to TEKO in Germany, he was already working in the refrigeration industry. He worked in sales and design of cold storage, deep freezer rooms and water chiller and planned their concepts for control electronics.

Tua, what are your tasks at TEKO?

I am being trained as a CO2 specialist at TEKO. My core task is technical support. I also complete a major part of my training in the training in the field of technology development. The aim is to gain comprehensive know-how about the refrigerant CO2 – from calculations technology, unit design, and customer advice – so that I am able to subsequently transfer this knowledge onto the Thai market.

How did you discover TEKO?

I know TEKO from the RHVAC exhibition in Thailand. There I heard that TEKO is looking for someone to go to Germany to train as a CO2 specialist for refrigeration systems. This was a great opportunity for me, as the refrigerant CO2 is not widely used in Thailand and TEKO is a market leader in the field. So I had no doubts and went for it!

What do you particularly like about your job and TEKO?

TEKO is a very innovative company and the main focus is on natural refrigerants. I also like the company culture. The communication between colleagues is good, so that solutions to problems are found quickly and precisely.

What future plans do you have at TEKO?

My goal is to become a specialist in CO2 refrigeration systems. I want to be involved in the development of our CO2 series, which will finally also be used abroad.

Thank you for the interview, Tua. We are happy that you have accepted this challenge. Welcome to our team and good luck for the future!
