Jonas Linnemann – Industrial Application Specialist CO2

23. April 2021

Jonas Linnemann has already been part of the TEKO team since 2017. Thanks to his education as a mechatronics technician for refrigeration technology at a refrigeration manufacturer for heavy and food industries, he has extensive know-how in the industrial sector, which he has further expanded through international commissioning of refrigeration systems in the food industry. After that, he graduated as a state-certified engineer in refrigeration and air conditioning systems technology, before starting his job at TEKO in 2017. In April 2021, he completed a 6-month course of study to achieve his Master Professional degree in Business Administration and is now back at TEKO in his new position as Industrial Application Specialist CO2.

Redaktion: Jonas, you have been employed at TEKO for several years now. What have you done in your previous position?

Jonas: Previously, I was responsible for sales and technical support for Scandinavian customers. Afterwards, I took over the division management of international technical support, which included the development of technical solutions of customer projects, quotations and project support.

Redaktion: What are your responsibilities in your new position?

Jonas: In my position as Industrial Application Specialist CO2, I am responsible for the development of technical innovations of transcritical CO2 systems demanded by the market, especially for industrial applications. This includes for example chillers, ejectors, flooded or pumped systems and other efficiency-enhancing measures.

I am the contact person between TEKO’s internal departments of product management, engineering, work preparation and sales. In this position I work out the information needed to review, develop and implement the measures in direct contact with our customers.

Redaktion: What exactly convinced you to join TEKO as an employer?

Jonas: For many years, TEKO has been known for an innovative technology with a strong focus on the refrigerant CO2, which means a certain complexity and technical demands. For me, this means a challenge on the one hand, and at the same time it is interesting and future-proof – a good mixture for personal and professional development.

Redaktion: What do you particularly like about TEKO?

Jonas: The refrigeration industry is undergoing exciting changes that offer new opportunities. TEKO always allows you to take advantage of opportunities, learn about and implement new things. That is important to me personally. And of course, it’s especially fun with great colleagues!

Redaktion: What are your future plans at TEKO, Jonas?

Jonas: My ambition is to keep TEKO moving forward in an innovative way by expanding and strengthening the products and to go the right way together. I am looking forward to my new tasks and also to the challenges they will bring.

Redaktion: Thank you very much for the good conversation, Jonas! We are pleased that you are back on board after your studies and wish you every success in your new position!
