We are looking to fill the following position at our head office in Altenstadt/Hesse as soon as possible:

Head of Logistics and Warehouse (m/f/x)

  • Organizing, optimizing, and securing the internal and external logistics chain to ensure cost-effective and timely availability of raw materials and on-time delivery of our products to customers
  • Providing both technical and disciplinary leadership and coordination for employees in the areas of inbound logistics, warehousing, provisioning, and shipping
  • Organizing and optimizing warehouse, picking, and shipping processes
  • Developing procedural and work instructions for logistics operations
  • Monitoring inventory levels and initiating corrective actions in collaboration with other departments
  • Ensuring compliance with legal and company requirements related to safety and environmental regulations in the assigned area
  • Negotiating with our transportation partners (pricing, service, warranties)
  • Coordinating transportation and shipping of our products through logistics service providers
  • Managing logistics cost reporting and controlling

That makes you stand out:

  • Completed commercial education, ideally supplemented by further education as a logistics master or equivalent studies with a focus on logistics
  • Several years of professional experience in logistics and warehouse management, including relevant leadership experience (preferably in a medium-sized company)
  • Experience with an ERP system and proficiency in MS Office
  • Good knowledge of English
  • Proactive, confident, and assertive demeanor
  • Process-oriented work approach, cost-conscious and business-oriented thinking
