Product Manager / Product Developer (m/f/x)
We are seeking a motivated and qualified Product Developer (m/f/x) to join our product development team and contribute to the development of innovative solutions for our products in mechanical engineering. As a Product Developer, you will be responsible for the conceptualization, design, implementation, and integration of new products, playing a crucial role in the continuous improvement of our product portfolio.
These are the challenges we offer you:
- Development and design of new products in mechanical engineering considering technical requirements and customer needs
- Conducting feasibility studies and evaluating technical solution concepts
- Design and determination of components, options, and pricing strategies
- Coordination and collaboration with production to ensure efficient manufacturing
- Monitoring development projects regarding schedule, costs, and quality
- Preparation of technical documentation, drawings, and specifications
- Conducting tests and prototyping to validate new product concepts
- Continuous improvement of existing products and processes
- Identification of potential cost savings and implementation of corresponding measures
- Continuous integration of new components from suppliers into existing products
- Development of new solutions in collaboration with suppliers
- Close collaboration with other departments such as sales, purchasing, and quality management
- Reporting to the Head of Product Management
That makes you stand out:
- Completed degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, HVAC engineering, or a comparable technical education
- Professional experience in product development in mechanical engineering or related fields
- Ideally, knowledge in steel and sheet metal processing
- Knowledge of Inventor is advantageous
- Experience in coordination with production and knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Team spirit and communication skills
- Independent and structured way of working as well as high motivation and commitment
